When I cook my boneless, skinless chicken breasts, I normally just put them on the george foreman grill or the barbecue grill cause its fast and healthier than frying. I’m just wondering if I could boil them? How long would that take for them to cook? It normally only takes about 10-15 mins on the grill. So my questions are:
1. How long would it take for the boneless chicken breast tenders to boil?
2. Will it remove more fat from the chicken than grilling it on my george foreman grill?

You really want to poach the chicken breasts – not really boil them. You want the liquid to be barely moving, just an occasional little bubble as opposed to a “rolling boil”. I poach in chicken broth to provide maximum flavor. Full breasts take about 20 minutes. Tenders should cook in 10.
I can’t believe much fat renders out when you grill them. I would imagine poaching will do the same but the broth is the best part and that’s where the fat will be.
There should be no need to boil a skinless chicken breast, as they are low in fat anyway and boiling them makes them tough and removes flavour from an already mild piece of meat. There are sometimes residual bits of fat on the breast but they are easily removed before you start cooking.
